Discussion Starter · #1 · Aug 29, 2024. Good morning. I bought a 63 plate Peugeot 208 1.2 from Evans Halshaw at the start of June. It has done 60,000 miles. I have recently realised that the clutch biting point is extremely high on it. I have paid for the 2 years extended warranty but heard mixed reviews on it.

As far as i understand how they work (reasonably well hopefully since i'm putting one in my kit car) a hydraulic clutch will bite higher and higher as the friction plate wears. So will a cable clutch for that matter, but this can be hidden by adjusting the cable. WebMay 3, 2011 · New Clutch High biting point.
