But as of now, they have no monetary value. I've enjoyed the experience and yellow gatherer's scrips gained from the new 'Ocean Fishing' in the game. It's a lot of fun too. With spear for example, there are 3 gig sizes and no matter what one you choose, you leave fish on the node you can't catch with the Gig you have on.
