At 35' AGL that antenna will get the job done. If a 5' mast will get the antenna over your roofline, that will work too. With the money you save ensure you use LMR-400 coax.
WebAhhh ok, that' 30' is just a mast length restriction due to the weight/wind loading of the antenna would probably bend over a crappy 30' mast. I thought you meant height of antenna. Yes, unless you have a reasonably stiff and well guyed mast there will be problems holding that thing up at any decent height.
