WebIt depends who is fitting, as a kitchen fitter may damage the floor after It's been laid, and of coarse it's slightly easier this way, another way is to fit most of the kitchen and leave the end panels and plymth off and fit after Vinyl is done, if it was my job I would do it this way. WebJan 16, 2007 · The plinths have a flexible clear plastic trim on the bottom to form a neat seal with the floor and presumably prevent water spills etc going under the units. Our cats have never complained about this small gap and they are the only ones who see it.:D Our kitchen was professionally installed and we were and are very pleased with it.
