Sending salutations or giving selawat is how we portray our love to the Prophet s.a.w while obtaining Allah’s love at the same time. By Selawat, we are also seeking closeness to Allah by abiding by His favours as commanded in the Quran. WebAlso it's not like they are making a holiday out of it or what not.
