When the indicator shows the same position re engage the screw cutting. Allow the tool to run back to the start position and stop the lathe. Set the cut and then take it with the lathe running in the usual direction. Repeat etc.

Works well and just needs a good clean and oil and in summer a nice coat of blue hammerite paint.
