I'm trying to ballpark an initial timing for my 351w with AFR185'3, 9.5:1, CR, and a cam that is advance 4deg. I have been running at 14 deg advance, but mileage is very bad, the idle is rough,a nd start-up is slow. Web351W Performance Tricks. The Ford 351W or 351 Windsor is classic American muscle.
